United Airline Reviews

By W Davies

United has accommodated me and my family on business as well as pleasure trips over the past 17 years. They have always been helpful when we found ourselves in a quandary and over the years I remember only one incident where I was upset about the quality of customer service when dealing with united employees. Today united airline baggage policy came through for me again, far above and beyond the call of fair customer service: my FF status expired in Feb as I had a slow travel year in 2017 and I also missed the March 11th deadline for purchasing a reinsted status, however, a very pleasant and helpful customer rep went the extra mile for me and requested an exception since I’ve been a loyal customer for years.

I flew from West to Toronto via Newark. Thank you to both the staff of the ground and on the aircraft who were very helpful and patient when weather delayed the first leg of our flight. We had constant updates in the airport as the situation was changing. When it was apparent we would not be able to catch the second leg (unfortunately the last united flight of the day to our destination) They found seats for us on a partner airline. Staff was polite and really persisted to find a solution. Flight was uneventful and cabin staff friendly and efficient.
