India is Set to Resume International Flights!

There is good news for all those who were waiting with bated breath about the resumption of international flights. The Aviation Ministry of India and DGCA has received the nod from the Health Ministry of India to resume International Flights.

The Director-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has confirmed that as the number of COVID 19 cases are going down across the globe and vaccination drives have been increased, so the government has taken the decision to resume international passenger flights from March 27, 2022.

It’s been two years since the government has put a ban on international flights due to COVID 19 pandemic. The airline industry and tourism sector were deeply affected by the pandemic and the news about the resumption of flights has brought much-needed cheer.

The international flights were earlier scheduled to resume in January month but due to the Omicron variant of Coronavirus, the decision of resuming international flights was postponed.

Ever since the international flight ban, India is operating its flights under the bubble country á¹­hat has around 40 countries including the USA, the UK, Canada, UAE and a few other European countries. As per the DGCA statement, the current bubble agreement will be abolished after the resumption of international flights.
