Virtual Inauguration: PM Unveils New integrated in Port Blair Airport Terminal Today
As per latest reports, PM inaugurates the brand-new Integrated Terminal in Port Blair today at 10:30 am via video conferencing. Besides that, the terminal located at Veer Savarkar International Airport, which serves the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. This Integrated Terminal in Port Blair is a significant improvement to Port Blair’s existing airport facilities. In fact, the terminal is 40,800 square meters in size and has a capacity of 5 million passengers per year. At the same time, the terminal has a variety of modern amenities. These amenities include a large departure hall, a large arrivals hall, a number of food and beverage outlets, and duty-free shops.
The Integrated Terminal is environmentally friendly and surrounded by a lush green garden. Moreover, numerous energy-saving components, including solar panels and rainwater collection systems, installed in the terminal. Similarly, the shell-shaped roof and glass walls let in plenty of natural light. Not to mention that people with disabilities can easily access this brand new terminal.
