Free Baggage Allowance 

For First & Executive Class

If you have booked tickets in Air India then in your luggage there should be Two (2) Pieces not be exceeding 70 lbs /32 kg each. Besides that the total dimensions (length + width + height) should not exceed 62 inches/158 cm. per piece.

For Economy Class

In the case of economy class two (2) Pieces should not exceed 50 lbs /23 kg each. Furthermore the combined dimensions of 2 pieces (length + width + height) should not exceed 107inches/ 273 cm, provided neither piece exceeds 62 inches/ 158cm.

Besides that one (1) additional piece should not exceed 50 lbs / 23 kg for AI Maharajah Club / AI Golden Edge Club/ AI Silver Edge Club/ Star Alliance Gold members.

Carry-on baggage

Air India you are allowed to have one (1) piece of carry-on baggage which should not exceed 8 inches/20cm x 16 inches/40cm x 22 inches/55cm and 18 lbs/8 kg, plus one personal item.

Baggage allowances policies for all classes’ Infants: One (1) piece of checked baggage is allowed whose 3 dimensions (length x breadth x height) do not exceed 45 inches/115 cm plus one collapsible stroller/carry cot/infant car seat, subject to availability of space. Infants are not entitled to a carry-on bag.

Excess Baggage Charges (Per piece)

United Airlines’ Baggage allowances policies for Infants:-

As a free baggage you can carry a Diaper bag for infants.

Breast pump and milk is also allowed as a free baggage.

Besides that government-approved child seat (infant carrying seat or car seat) is also allowed.

One compact folding stroller that meets the carry-on baggage size guidelines (9 inches x 14 inches x 22 inches or 9 inches x 10 inches x 17 inches) is also allowed.

If you are travelling on Air Canada then your free baggage allowance is determined by your fare, destination, date of ticket purchase and frequent flyer status.

Here are the weight and size restrictions for all itineraries

First of all maximum weight per bag 50 lb (23 kg)

After that, maximum linear dimensions per bag 62 in (158 cm)
