Jet Airways Passengers Are Allowed Upgrading To Higher Class!

Full service carrier Jet Airways announced the launch of ‘Jet upgrade’ initiative. Through this bidding process, the passengers are allowing to upgrading to higher class OR premiere class.

The airline said in a statement, under the program, passengers holding confirmed economy or premiere bookings can bid for an upgrade to premiere or first class respectively.

This is available on the website of Jet Airways under the option of ‘manage my booking’ section. It is stating the amount they are willing to bid for the upgrade.

The bidding will open at least for 7 days before the departure of flight date and close 24 hours before the scheduled departure.

Guests can modify, or even cancel their bids in the interim. Once the bid is accepted as per the defined timelines, they will not be able to withdraw their bid. The statement said that claiming the scheme is the first of its kind in the industry.

To the winning bidder, a revised e-ticket will be sent. But, the original booking of all other guests will remain unaffected. In advance, the airline will notify the passengers about the bids and their status via email before the departure of their flight.

On all flights of Jet airways, the program will be available across the airline’s entire network of 65 domestic and international destinations.
