Fee Raised By Southwest Airlines For Early Boarding at Some Airports
The passengers who want to board early on Southwest Airlines must pay a fee to pick a window seat and have a room in the overhead compartment for their luggage.
The fee has been quietly raised by the Dallas-based carrier for the passengers at some airports who decide to reach for early boarding and be among the first to get a seat.
In every few years, the Airline is reviewing the prices of their services in order to position with the market and operational conditions as well as to manage the quality of their offerings according to the statement given by the Airline.
On Southwest Airlines, there are two ways to board early. Passengers can book a business class ticket which covers benefits like boarding the plane early, a free drink and extra loyalty reward points.
In addition to this, the fliers can choose to pay for the service of “Early bird check-in” during booking.
